The online test will be objective-type, and questions will be available in both English and Hindi (except the English paper). Here’s how the online test will look:
Marking Scheme:
Note: The scoring for the Phase-I test will be “normalized” to account for variations in the difficulty of the questions across different sessions. The cut-off for shortlisting candidates will be based on the normalized marks.
Phase II – Further Testing
Shortlisting & Admit Cards
Once the Phase-I results are out, shortlisted candidates will receive a new admit card for Phase-II, sent to their registered email IDs. These candidates will need to report to the designated centre with necessary documents and materials (like the filled application form, photographs, certificates, etc.).
Uploading Additional Documents
Candidates with additional skills or qualifications (e.g., IT, motor vehicle maintenance, hospitality, etc.) should upload supporting certificates when they receive their Phase-II admit card.
Document Verification
Candidates should bring all required documents for verification during Phase-II. If any documents are found to be incorrect or incomplete, the candidature will be cancelled.
Physical Fitness & Medical Tests
Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
Shortlisted candidates will undergo a Physical Fitness Test (PFT) that includes a 1.6 km run and other exercises (push-ups, sit-ups, squats). Male and female candidates have different time limits, so be sure to check the detailed requirements.
Consent for Fitness & Medical Tests
Candidates will need to sign a consent form before participating in the fitness or medical tests. This will acknowledge that the candidate is taking part at their own risk.
Adaptability Test-I & II
Candidates who pass PFT will proceed to Adaptability Test-I and, if successful, Adaptability Test-II, which assesses suitability for Air Force environments and life.
Medical Examination
After passing Adaptability Test-II, candidates will undergo a medical examination, which includes a series of tests like blood work, ECG, and more.
Appeal for Medical Unfitness
Candidates who are declared medically unfit can appeal by submitting an application and paying a fee for a second opinion.
Note: Candidates must follow all instructions carefully to avoid disqualification. Using mobile phones or electronic devices during the exam will result in disqualification.
Please make sure to bring a color printout of your provisional Admit Card when you arrive at the Examination Centre. If any issues, mistakes, or discrepancies are found during the initial verification at the exam venue or later in the selection process, you will not be allowed to take the online test.
Don’t forget to carry your AADHAAR Card (as mentioned on your Admit Card) as proof of identity when you come for the Selection Test (Phase-I & II) and the Medical Test. If you’re from J&K, Ladakh, Assam, or Meghalaya and don’t have an AADHAAR Card, please bring any other valid ID proof.
